Pets and Security
My dog is my best friend.

She is 16 now and been with me through so much, lived with me in the Van for 2 years.

Our body warmth kept us both from freezing and she was a great security too.

People don’t want to enter your van if there’s a dog in there.

When we first got to the farm, she couldn’t walk, her back legs were dragging.

But Sue she gave her glucosamine.

Sue used to take care of horses and she knew what my dog’s problem was.

Now, I give her medicine each day and that old dog is up walking again.

She is getting used to her new digs at the farm; she sleeps in the house on the porch now and wanders around the farm.

Hi “Ed”…although I do know who you really are…I will keep that private :) This is your niece Tanya! I had no idea what was going on with you until mom and dad were here last weekend. I am so sorry…but I am so thankful that you have been given this opportunity to live at that farm. I really hope and pray that you will get back on your feet again. I can’t imagine that life that you have lived…we all as humans complain about our circumstances but yet don’t realize how fortunate we really are until we see how bad some people’s lives can get.

Just know that I still think of you and LOVE you! Keep your chin up and I will keep you in my prayers and spread the word about this farm that is doing such amazing work on the island!

    XOXO,
    Tanya
